“0% Viewership” ‘Kick Kick Kick Kick’ Becomes KBS’s Lowest-Rated Drama, Nears Disgraceful End

In Episode 11 of KBS2’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Kick Kick Kick Kick”, which aired on March 12, Ji Jin-hee (Ji Jin-hee), Jo Young-sik (Lee Kyu-hyung) and Kick Kick Kick Kick Company’s employees successfully launched a commerce product and managed to drive out investor Don Man-hee (Kim Joo-heon).

Ji Jin-hee and Jo Young-sik sought out new commerce items to thwart Don Man-hee, who had plans for company restructuring. While brainstorming, Ji Jin-hee came up with an idea inspired by the hygiene challenges of camping. They unanimously agreed on deodorants, cleansing sprays and hair powder as their commerce items. With that decision, both CEOs and employees devoted themselves to research, safety tests and production.

On the day of their product launch, the initial sales were promising, but they still fell far short of the amount needed to repay Don Man-hee. The company then split into teams to sell products via live broadcasts and promote them through short-form content. Their aggressive marketing strategy resulted in a dramatic spike in sales.

At one point, Noh In-sung (Jeong Han-seol) went as far as pulling out his own hair to boost sales of the hair powder, shocking both his colleagues and viewers. This moment underscored how much the employees saw Kick Kick Kick Kick Company as a place they had to protect and grow together, proving their resilience through commerce.

After successfully ousting Don Man-hee, Ji Jin-hee, Jo Young-sik and the employees held a celebratory party and manito event. Ji Jin-hee discovered that Wang Jo-yeon (Jeon Hye-yeon) and Kang Tae-ho (Kim Eun-ho) were secretly dating and, as Wang Jo-yeon’s manito, went out of his way to help them keep it under wraps.

In a bizarre turn of events, Ji Jin-hee ended up receiving a kiss from Kang Tae-ho and giving one to Noh In-sung under the guise of a “cheek kiss challenge” after the couple was caught kissing by Jo Young-sik and Noh In-sung. This moment further cemented Ji Jin-hee’s self-sacrificing nature.

Meanwhile, as Wang Jo-yeon and Kang Tae-ho’s romance continued, Lee Min-jae (Lee Min-jae) and Lee Mark (Baek Sun-ho) both tried to win over Ga Joo-ha (Jeon So-young) in their own ways. However, seeing Lee Min-jae and Ga Joo-ha grow closer left Lee Mark feeling anxious. In a moment of determination, he finally confessed his genuine feelings to Ga Joo-ha, marking a critical turning point in the love triangle that is rushing toward its conclusion.

KBS has now aired four dramas that recorded a 0% viewership rating. The first was “Welcome” (0.8%), followed by “Love All Play” (0.9%) and “My Lovely Boxer” (0.9%). However, “Kick Kick Kick Kick” set a new all-time low with a dismal 0.3% rating.

The final episode of “Kick Kick Kick Kick” will air on March 13 at 10:50 PM.
