29th Busan International Film Festival: Fans React to Stunning Opening Day

The 29th Busan International Film Festival kicked off today in Busan, South Korea, with a star-studded entrance. Park Bo Young, Yuri, Da Hyun, Kim Min Ju, Jang Dong Gun, Lee Jung Jae, Song Joong Ki, and many more lit up the red carpet. Fans were excited to see their favorite stars and shared their thoughts.

Highlights from day one included a tribute to the late actor Lee Sun Kyun. He was given a Korea Cinema Contribution Award posthumously. Viewers were introduced to the Netflix film ‘Uprising,’ which stars Kang Dong Won, Park Jung Min, and Cha Seung Won. The film follows the story of a martial arts prodigy unable to gain freedom from his enslavement. He meets his former master in war during the reign of King Seonjo.
