Here are seven K-pop idols who are also successful actors.

Many K-pop artists are taking the next step into the world of K-damas, showcasing their versatility and talent beyond music. While there are numerous successful actors in the industry, entering the world of acting isn’t easy.

However, some idols do it successfully!


Jisoo made her acting debut in 2015, even before her debut with BLACKPINK! She made a cameo in the drama “The Producers.” She landed her first lead role in 2021, starring in the JTBC series “Snowdrop.”

Currently, Jisoo is filming two acting projects: the film “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” and the drama “Influenza.”

2. ZE:A Park Hyung Sik

Some people forget that Park Hyun Sik actually got his start as a member of ZE:A due to how successful he is as an actor! Park Hyun Sik debuted as an actor in 2012 with the drama “I Remember You,” just two years after his idol debut.

It’s not just Yoona who has a successful acting career from Girls’ Generation; maknae Seohyun does too! She first made her acting debut with a cameo in “Unstoppable Marriage” in 2008.
