After several years, BIGBANG finally graced the stage as a group, and VIPs are thrilled! Is this a signal for a potential comeback? 

On Aug. 31st and Sept. 1st, Taeyang held his two-day concert in Seoul at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park as part of his 2024 TOUR “THE LIGHT YEAR.” Here, he met VIPs (fans) and showed off his impeccable singing and dancing skills as one of the most iconic idols. 

During the event, VIPs undoubtedly enjoyed all the performances shown by Taeyang, but what made fans scream in delight was when BIGBANG members appeared as special guests, gifting fans their much-awaited full reunion.

On the first day, Daesung joined Taeyang and decorated the stage of “A Fool of Tears,” while the latter played the piano. Not only did the spectators become emotional, but even the two felt their longing for each other as a team and Daesung said:

“It’s a historic day. I was so touched, and I cried when I heard the piano performance and my brother’s voice behind me. I held back my tears and came down. I almost became a fool who only sheds tears.”

On the same day, the duo also reminisced about their heyday with fans by performing Daesung’s solo, “Wings” and the group’s hits, “BANG BANG BANG,” “FANTASTIC BABY,” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” with Taeyang. 

While the duo’s interaction is enough for VIPs, fans were truly surprised when G-Dragon made his appearance on the second day and performed “GOOD BOY,” as the unit GD X TAEYANG. 

After completing the stage, the two hugged, leading a lot of VIPs to shed tears. Daesung then joined them afterwards with stages of their hits which they had sung the day before. 




After the concert, Taeyang posted a photo with Daesung and G-Dragon saying, “THE LIGHT YEAR IN SEOUL,” while G-Dragon shared a video of Taeyang and Daesung being playful saying, “Wow! You’re so cute.” G-Dragon especially showed his affection for Taeyang by posting a photo of himself hugging Taeyang and saying, “My love.” 

Taeyang’s concert this time was his first solo concert in about 7 years since the “TAEYANG 2017 WORLD TOUR WHITE NIGHT IN SEOUL.”

It became a more meaningful concert after GD and Daesung came out and performed together on stage after such a long time, and fans expressed their hopes for a comeback, expressing their great excitement at the sight of BIGBANG reuniting on stage after such a long time. 

When the videos of their performances were then shared, they have been getting an explosive response from K-pop enthusiasts.
