1. 1US and 2US (t/n: one-us & two-us)

It’s a shame that because 1US is from such a small company, it didn’t become an issue but of course, it was the talk of the town on Instiz and other idol centered communities

“Are ONEUS and TWS related?”

2. ILLIT’s fandom name 

ILLIT’s fandom name was LILLY (릴리) at first, which was overlapping with NMIXX’s Lily (릴리) so they ended up putting out a statement that they were changing it

After that, they changed it to LILLYS (릴리즈) but Lilys (릴리즈) was also BlackPink Lisa’s personal fandom name 

After a few months of them saying they’d change it, they finally came out with GLIT

“ILLIT’s fandom name changing again… LILLY -> LILLYS, and what next?”

3. SYND8 and CANARY

Canary has the same profile information as Karina’s height, MBTI, etc. and even the name’s characters are the same, but in different orders (카나리, 카리나)

4. KATSEYE’s fandom name 

“HYBE’s new girl group fandom name ‘EYEKONS (아티콘즈)’—could you consider changing it???? Fans are always fighting and bickering on Twitter, and there’s no confidence in winning against the ‘fruit juice pig’. Just change it already… Is he obsessed with the word KON(콘)?”

1. Why are they self-sabotaging their own image like that? Seriously HYBE isn’t some small agency, so they don’t need to resort to this level of trolling… This is clear that they have no sincerity and they’re shameless

2. The fact that they’re using those group names as a twin of something that already exists is baffling, stealing is a daily task for them 

3. The cancer of the entertainment industry ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I honestly don’t understand why they had to name the group with US in it? When nicknames derived from the group name are similar or overlap, they naturally shift towards the more popular ones, and in the end, only the fandom that gets affected ends up with hurt feelings and disputes. Honestly, why does this happen…?
