On Sep 17th, a video titled “Last Chance for a Summer Water Adventure, Let’s Head to Yangyang! Yu-bi’s Swimsuit ootd Revealed” was uploaded on the YouTube channel “DDOYUBI”.
In the video, Lee Yu-bi excitedly shared “Today is the last day of my summer vacation. I wanted to enjoy some refreshing water fun, so I decided to head to a trending hotspot with my friends” as they made their way to Yangyang.
Upon arriving at a place with a swimming pool, Lee Yu-bi appeared quite excited. She said, “I need to wear a swimsuit. When I wore one in Dubai, it caught a lot of attention. So today, I’m going to show you my swimsuit recommendations and styling. These days, swimsuits that look like outfits are really in. I’ll mostly be trying on monokinis.“
The first swimsuit she wore was a yellow one, which she described as “not too revealing, almost like regular clothes“. She paired it with a cute hat to complete the lovely look.
Her second swimsuit was a mint-colored one. She boasted, “This is a pure style. It’s one of my favorites. Technically, it’s not a swimsuit, but a pole dance outfit, but it was so pretty that I bought it. It doesn’t need much styling.”
Next, Lee Yu-bi appeared in a character swimsuit, saying, “This one is for taking photos.” However, her friends commented, “It’s too much” and “Everything is too assertive.“
In response, Lee Yu-bi said “I’ll go for a more hip look” and put on a chic black swimsuit, pairing it with a ponytail wig she bought from Temu. But her friends pointed out, “The wig color is too different.”
For her final look, she wore a knit bikini paired with a skirt. She explained, “You can wear this on the beach, and when you want to swim, just take off the skirt. Isn’t it pretty? Pair it with a cap for a feminine yet hip look.”
Lee Yu-bi then asked her friends to pick their favorite swimsuit, and they all chose the first one. However, she shocked them by choosing the character swimsuit, which had received the worst reaction.
Later, when Lee Yu-bi appeared at the pool, she wasn’t wearing the character swimsuit but a different one instead. She explained, “The opposition was too strong, and I need to consider my friends, so I chose this swimsuit.“
