With just one episode remaining, SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Good Partner” has captivated viewers with its realistic and direct portrayal of the dilemmas and major deals that occur at the moment of family dissolution. The show has continuously offered warm empathy and comfort. By breaking the stereotypes surrounding divorce through the lens of divorce lawyers, the drama has earned high praise from viewers.
Amid its popularity, the ratings have been outstanding. Episode 15 reached a nationwide rating of 16.7% (according to Nielsen Korea), securing the top spot for its time slot and being the number-one mini-series aired on Saturday.
As Cha Eun-kyung (Jang Nara) leaves the law firm Daejeong and starts a new chapter in her life, Han Yu-ri (Nam Ji-hyun) also embarks on her own journey of independence at Daejeong. The heartwarming process of these two lawyers, who now face each other as opponents, finding the real issues and reaching an agreement has warmed viewers’ hearts. The ending, where Daejeong’s head Oh Dae-gyu (Jung Jae-sung) entrusts his case to Cha Eun-kyung, has left viewers even more curious about the final episode.
