The fourth teaser for Family by Choice has been released.
Family by Choice is a story of three people who, despite being unrelated by blood, consider each other family and spend their teenage years together. They reunite after 10 years. The K-drama is a remake of the C-drama Go Ahead.
The teaser video reveals the lively daily lives of Kim San Ha (Hwang In Youp), Yun Ju Won (Jung Chae Yeon) and Kang Hae Jun (Bae Hyeon Seong).
The teaser commences with showing Yun Ju Won running around the school, exuding vibrant energy, which has led to her being labeled as a “weirdo.” She boasts a “hwaiting” spirit, not backing down between her two older brothers, likening herself to a rabbit that thinks it’s a tiger.
In contrast, Kim San Ha appears visibly exhausted by the constant clashing and bickering between Yun Ju Won and Kang Hae Jun. Despite being sharp-tongued like a hedgehog, his thoughtful actions, such as buying a cake to lift their spirits, reveal how much he cares for the two.
Then there is Kang Hae Jun, who always wears a smile like a dolphin, but he’s actually the one who cries the most in his family. Such are the youngsters of the Family by Choice. And just as it has always been, everyone expected they would stay together forever.
However, Yun Ju Won’s statement, “I thought we’d always live like this,” and Kim San Ha’s reply, “I’ll do that when I return,” hints that they will soon part ways, leaving us curious about the reason behind the split of the trio.
Starting October 9, viewers can catch two episodes of Family by Choice every Wednesday. It will be available globally on OTT platforms such as Viu in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa; U-Next in Japan; and Rakuten Viki in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and India.
