“The series has helped me gain confidence at a time when I had low self-esteem, making me realize I can do this kind of acting. I showed the acting that I’ve never shown before, so I think of it as a turning point in my filmography,” Jung Hae In told ‘The Korea Times’ in a 2023 interview about his action series ‘D.P.’
He added, “I feel very grateful because this project has helped me resolve the thirst I had as an actor.”
‘Love Next Door’ follows the story of a young woman who wants a different life and her relationship with a friend of the family. The friend knows all her deep, dark secrets from her childhood. The romantic comedy airs its finale this Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST on tvN. The global audience can stream it on Netflix.
‘I, the Executioner,’ which is currently playing in theaters in South Korea and the USA, follows the story of a Violent Crimes Investigation Unit solving crimes that put their personal lives at risk. Jung Hae In plays a rookie detective. He captures the attention of the team’s leader, who is played by Hwang Jung Min. It’s the sequel to the 2015 action film ‘Veteran’ that introduced the audience to the team leader and gives the backstory about his time as a police officer.
