Jung Hae-in Recalled Going To Cannes Film Festival With His Mother, “It’s Weird But I’m Glad I Did”

Jung Hae-in, who appeared as a guest on tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” on November 9th, revealed various behind-the-scenes stories of his career, one of which is going to the Cannes Film Festival with his mother for the movie “Veteran 2.”

Jung Hae-in said, “I had a chance to go with my family to this event. (Hwang Jung-min) brought his son, and I went with my mother, but I actually didn’t want my mother to go with me. That’s too much.

Jung Hae-in confessed about his relationship with his mother, “My mother brags about me somewhere, but I hate that so much that I told her not to.” However, Jung Hae-in confessed that he changed his mind through conversations with Hwang Jung-min.

Meanwhile, Jung told his mother that he wanted to go to Cannes with her. After much consideration, she said, “Let’s go together.” Then, due to some difficulties, Jung again refused to accompany his mother. However, Jung revealed that he was shaken by his mother’s earnest request and eventually had a mother and son trip there.

It was the best thing I did in 2024 (to take my mother to Cannes). It has been one of the best experiences in my life as an actor,” Jung said. “I value my time with my parents more.”

Jung Hae-in’s father was born in 1962 and runs an ophthalmology hospital in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and his mother was born in 1960 and is a pathologist. Both of them are alumni of Catholic Medical School and have worked as doctors.
