Sung Dong Il and Go Gyu Pil will reportedly be the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming superhero K-drama Twelve.
On October 14, an exclusive report by media outlet DongA stated that Sung Dong Il and Go Gyu Pil will join Ma Dong Seok, Ji Chang Wook, Sung Dong Il, Lee Joo Bin, Seo In Guk, and Kang Mi Na in the upcoming K-drama Twelve. According to reports, the two actors have already joined the filming of the upcoming K-drama.
Sung Dong Il and Go Gyu Pil’s side haven’t responded to the casting reports yet.
If Sung Dong Il confirms his casting, this will be his third upcoming K-drama. Before the year ends, the veteran actor will star in the upcoming series The Tale of Lady Ok together with Im Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Yeonwoo, Kim Jae Won, and Lee Jae Won. He will also lead the upcoming mystery fantasy K-drama Late Night Photo Studio.
Meanwhile, this will be the fourth upcoming K-drama of Go Gyu Pil. He is set to return to The Fiery Priest Season 2 this November. He will also join Kim Soo Hyun’s upcoming Disney+ K-drama Knock Off. Go Gyu Pil will also be part of the cast of the upcoming Netflix original series All the Love You Wish For starring Kim Woo Bin and Bae Suzy.
The upcoming K-drama Twelve will depict the story of heroes representing 12 magazines struggling to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
It will be the next work of director Kang Dae Gyu who also created the works Pawn, Harmony, Tidal Wave, and He Was Cool. Big Punch Pictures, Novafilm, and Content G will produce the upcoming series.
According to reports, the production has already begun filming. The release date of the upcoming superhero K-drama is not yet finalized but it will premiere in 2025.
