5 Kdramas With Demons Like The Judge from Hell! Island, The Guest, A Korean Odyssey, and More

The Judge from Hell is becoming a favourite among viewers right now and after Grim Reapers, we are falling for demons. There is no doubt that Park Shin-hye as a demon is what we never knew we wanted and she is ace-ing her game with this role. Kim Jae-young is also giving some good performances in the drama as he slowly falls in love with the demon.

As the demon continues to steal our hearts with each episode, how could we avoid the demons who visited our screens in recent years? With this, here’s a list of Kdramas with demons who might have just met Justicia aka Kang Bit-na in hell.

5 Kdramas With Demons Like The Judge from Hell!

Island

The first on this list is not one with a demonic character but where demons are being exorcised. The drama is a thrilling adventure of exorcists who travel around the island trying to get rid of demons roaming around. The horror fantasy makes for a good start for this list as we see demons (inferior to Justicia obviously) spread fear everywhere.

The plot of the drama revolves around a woman who is banished to Jeju Island. However, the island has secrets of its own and it is not something that she can deal with on her own. However, she soon finds help when she meets individuals who help her solve the troubles surrounding the island.

Lovers of the Red Sky

This drama brings the entwined fate of two very different people who come together when solving a case that brings out truths of the past. As the two form an unexpected team, they get involved in court wars and a romance that will change their lives.

The plot of the show revolves around a talented female painter and an astrologer who is blind. The two are polar opposites but get together, slowly getting involved in palace politics that shake everything around them.

The Guest

Seeing demons in a negative role is quite common which is why The Judge from Hell is probably gaining the attention. This show too shows a fight against demons not just any demon, but a powerful demon who can control and use other demons. As three humans with some ability get together on a revengeful journey, the adventure is not easy to get through.

The plot of the show revolves around three individuals who struggle through the hands of the demon- Son or Guest. However, years later, they reunite with abilities that can aid them in fighting the demon. Will they be able to succeed or will they find defeat in the hands of the ever-powerful demon?

The Uncanny Counter Season 2

This is a drama that is filled with uncanny adventures of a group of people who fight demons. Once again bringing demons in the negative role, this show brings an intriguing plot as the characters get together to defeat a powerful demon who knows what he is doing. Also, the demon is someone you can’t help falling for, so I guess that’s a demon’s trait.

The plot of the show revolves around the demon hunters called Counter who are tasked with capturing evil spirits who are in pursuit of eternal life. The second season continues this adventure as they face a demon like no other.

A Korean Odyssey

Finally, we have another story with demons who are just as good-looking as the other demonic characters who have us wooed by them. Based on the Chinese classic The Journey to the West, this show brings a new outlook to the tale while also showing these demons in a different light. Especially the ones accompanying Seon-mi.

The plot of the show revolves around an immortal who makes a contract with a human to save her whenever she needs it. In exchange, she has to help free him 25 years later when they have their next encounter. Years later, the immortal is back bound by the contract and takes on the protective role of the girl.
