The star’s fan event, which celebrates his 25th anniversary in the entertainment industry, takes place on November 2 at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall, Seoul, South Korea.

Lee Dong Wook’s latest production is the historical thriller film ‘Harbin.’ The movie dramatizes the struggles of Korean citizens during the 1900s. The movie follows their mission to achieve independence from Japan and establish a new government. Hyun Bin stars as historical figure Ahn Jung Geun. Director Woo Min Ho, who is famous for ‘The Man Standing Next’ film, is behind this new production. The film was screened at 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and is aiming for a December release.

The legendary star’s claim to fame is the 1999 coming-of-age series ‘School.’ He is best known for his roles in the 2015 fantasy film ‘The Beauty Inside,’ the 2016 fantasy ‘Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,’ and the 2020 fantasy series ‘Tale of the Nine Tailed.’

Lee Dong Wook is still single, and he opened up about his relationship status in an exclusive interview with ‘The Korea Time’ last year while promoting his ‘Single in Seoul’ film.

“My single life is not any different. I eat and sleep when I want and watch movies if I’m in the mood. I think that is the perk of being single. When I get home after enjoying drinks with friends, I feel comfortable being alone rather than feeling empty,” he said.

Lee Dong Wook went on to say, “Dating is about sharing my time, space, and feelings. And I find myself wanting to share these with someone else, but at the same time, I also feel comfortable by myself despite being lonely. So (my thoughts) are going back and forth.”
