BTS’ Jimin’s “Who” becomes the fastest K-pop solo song of 2024 to exceed 800 million streams on Spotify

Jimin of BTS continues to break records with his solo work, as his track “Who” from his second solo album ‘MUSE‘ has achieved a monumental milestone, exceeding 800 million streams on Spotify. As of October 18, “Who” has become the fastest solo song by a K-pop artist in 2024 to reach this impressive number.

Released on July 19, 2024, “Who” managed to accumulate 800 million streams in just 53 days, outpacing global hits like Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” and “Please Please Please,” which reached 500 million streams in 58 days.

This is Jimin’s second solo track to cross the 800 million streams mark. It follows his 2023 smash hit “Like Crazy,” which has since surpassed 1 billion streams on the platform. “Who” is also the most-streamed K-pop song released in 2024. Globally, it ranks as the fourth-fastest song in Spotify history to hit the 800 million mark.
