Three-Body, Meet Yourself, A Dream of Splendor, and more C-dramas win at Golden Eagle Awards

The winners of the Golden Eagle Awards 2024 have been announced.

The China TV Golden Eagle Awards, also known as the Golden Eagle Awards, is one of the three most prominent national award ceremonies in China for excellence in the Chinese television sector. Presented by the China Television Artists Association, this award is regarded as one of the most prestigious in the industry, alongside the Feitian Awards. The Golden Eagle Award is held every two years, alternating with the Feitian Awards since 2005.

This year’s awards ceremony was attended by numerous celebrities, including Liu Yu Ning, Li Xian, and Joy of Life‘s Zhang Ruo Yun and Li Qin — both of whom were nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress awards, respectively — among others.

• Best Director: Yang Lei (Three-Body) 

• Excellent Dramas: Forerunner, Blossoms Shanghai, Wild Bloom, The Knockout, The Long Season, A Dream of Splendor, Meet Yourself, Bright Future
• Best Script: Qin Wen (Blossoms Shanghai) 
• Best Actor: Fan Wei (The Long Season) 

• Best Actress: Zhao Li Ying (Wild Bloom) 

• Best Supporting Actor: Wang Jing Chun (Ordinary Greatness) 
• Best Supporting Actress: Gao Ye (The Knockout)
• Best TV Animation: Boonie Bears: Small World
• Best TV Documentary: Ba Jin and The Yellow River Is Calm
• Best TV Variety (Art) Program: Sounds of Life: Taiwan Season
• Best TV Host: He Jiong, Sounds of Life: Taiwan Season
• China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Lifetime Achievement Award: You Benchang, Zhang Shaolin
