Fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar Korea released a pictorial featuring the “Love Next Door” couple Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min.
The photoshoot, which took place in Bali, Indonesia, perfectly captured the chemistry between the two actors against the beautiful weather. Throughout the shoot, they posed affectionately, leading the atmosphere with a closeness reminiscent of their on-screen characters. In an interview conducted alongside the shoot, their playful banter added to the warm and friendly mood.
When asked “How did you feel on the last day of filming ‘Love Next Door’?“, Jung So-min said, “I couldn’t believe it. We promised to stop each other from crying, but on the actual day, we were both confused, asking, ‘Is it really over?’” Jung Hae-in added, “After it was over, I couldn’t bring myself to leave and I kept wandering around. I still miss the filming set.”
When asked “A message that Somin, not Seokryu, wants to say to Seunghyo? A message that Haein, not Seunghyo, wants to say to Seokryu?“, Jung So-min said, “Seunghyo, I hope you live happily ever after, healthy and being loved by Seokryu.” Jung Hae-in humorously responded with, “Keep your promise!”
Meanwhile, tvN’s “Love Next Door” is a story of a woman who lives the perfect life abroad, being employed by one of the best companies in the world and engaged to an international lawyer. She suddenly returns to Korea. Her mom’s friend’s son, who is one of her childhood best friends, is a top architect in Korea. The show ended on October 6, with a peak rating of 8.5%.
Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min’s chemistry as the “Seung-ryu Couple” led to dating rumors. Speculation intensified when it was revealed that they had traveled together for the photoshoot, which was considered unusual. When asked about the rumors during an interview, Jung Hae-in added fuel to the fire by responding with “no comment“.
Later, Jung So-min clarified, “It’s partly due to the nature of the genre, and I made a lot of effort to get closer to Jung Hae-in for the sake of our roles. The dating rumors seem to have stemmed from that process.”
