The 2024 MAMA Awards will be graced by none other than the “K-pop King” G-Dragon!
This year’s MAMA Awards finally disclosed the third lineup for the event’s performers, with the BIGBANG leader as one of the acts included.
Aside from G-Dragon, the third lineup will have BIBI, BOYNEXTDOOR, (G)I-DLE, and PLAVE.
G-Dragon’s return to the MAMA Awards has made buzz across the K-pop community, since his last appearance on the awards show was nine years ago, in 2015.
All eyes are currently on the “Crayon” singer, as he is expected to bring captivating performances at the event with his music, talent, and showmanship.
In line with this exciting schedule, G-Dragon will also make his much-awaited solo comeback. On October 8, G-Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation released a brief statement regarding the idol’s return.
“We are now coordinating an official comeback date,” the agency shared, adding that nothing has been finalized about his comeback date. They further revealed that G-Dragon was nearing the final stages of his album preparation.
Fans are also anticipating whether the K-pop legend will perform his new release at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s upcoming music will mark his first release in over seven years since his 2017 mini-album “Kwon Ji Young.”
G-Dragon will also appear on tvN’s variety show “You Quiz on the Block,” where he will show more of his comeback.
On October 21, the icon also shared a mysterious teaser that seemingly hints at his new music, igniting enthusiastic reactions from fans.
