On the October 24 broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show,” the members of ITZY appeared as guests.
DJ Park Myung-soo commented on their continued popularity after 6 years since their debut, saying, “Your parents must be proud of your success,” and asked each member how they had shown filial piety to their parents.
Chaeryeong responded, “I often call and text them. I previously sent my mom and younger sister on a trip to Europe, and I decided to send them again this time.” Ryujin added, “I bought a watch for my mom with my bonus,” while Yuna mentioned, “I invited my parents on a European tour, where we enjoyed the concert together, and my mom cried after watching it.”
Park Myung-soo then remarked, “Daughters often seem a bit awkward with their fathers,” prompting the members to ask, “Is your daughter distant with you?”
Park Myung-soo replied, “My daughter is in high school. It’s a tough time for her, and I don’t know how to approach her. I want to hug her and tell her I love her, but she rejects it,” which elicited laughter from the audience.
