Lee Joo Myung has confirmed her next K-drama project.
It was officially confirmed on October 23 that Lee Joo Myung will be starring in the upcoming K-drama My Youth.
She will work alongside Song Joong Ki, Chun Woo Hee, Lee Joo Myung, Seo Ji Hoon, and Lee Bong Ryun in the upcoming romance K-drama.
My Youth explores the romantic journey of two individuals who once stood by each other in difficult times. Their paths cross again after ten years, leading to a fresh start and new love.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Lee Sang Yeob (Yumi’s Cells and Familiar Wife) and writer Park Shi Hyun (Run On). HighZium Studio, home to Song Joong Ki, will produce the upcoming series.
Lee Joo Myung will portray the role of Mo Tae Rin in the series. She is a former child actress and now a superstar under Feel Entertainment. She is currently handled by Chun Woo Hee’s character Seong Je Yeon. She will have an unexpected reunion with her first love through an accident.
My Youth will premiere in 2025. It will reportedly air in JTBC.
This will be the comeback K-drama of Lee Joo Myung after two years. She last appeared in the 2023 K-drama Like Flowers in Sand.
She also recently made her big screen debut through the movie Pilot. She worked alongside Jo Jung Suk, Han Sun Hwa, Shin Seung Ho, Kim Ji Hyun, and Oh Min Ae.
Lee Joo Myung also recently signed under Alien Company.
The actress is known for being part of the K-dramas Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Check Out the Event, Kairos, Missing: The Other Side, My Fellow Citizens!, and more.
