On October 29th, HYBE expressed, “We are grateful for the court’s wise decision. With this ruling, HYBE will focus on normalizing ADOR, advancing our multi-label system, and supporting our artists’ activities.”
Earlier that day, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50 (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) dismissed Min Hee-jin’s injunction request against HYBE. A dismissal means the court concludes the case without addressing the merits because the legal requirements are not met.
Previously, in April, HYBE accused Min Hee-jin of breach of trust, claiming that she attempted to usurp ADOR’s management rights. In August, ADOR’s internal board dismissed Min from her CEO position and appointed HYBE’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Kim Joo-young as the new CEO. However, Min filed an injunction application on September 13th, requesting a shareholders’ meeting and her reinstatement to the board.
