The upcoming Coupang Play original K-drama Family Plan is confirmed to premiere next month.
Coupang Play announced on October 29 that the upcoming thriller comedy K-drama Family Plan will officially premiere on November 29. This will be the follow-up drama to air on Coupang Play after What Comes after Love starring Lee Se Young, Sakaguchi Kentaro, Hong Jong Hyun, and Nakamura Anne.
Family Plan will be led by award-winning actors Bae Doo Na, Ryu Seung Beom, Baek Yoon Shik, Lomon, Lee Su Hyun, Shin Woo Chan, and more.
The upcoming K-drama will tell the story of a group of gifted individuals, disguised as an ordinary family. They are hiding their special abilities to survive against heinous criminals.
According to reports, the filming for the upcoming K-drama has already concluded early this year.
Family Plan will be the collaboration work of creator and writer Kim Jung Min (Suits) and directors Kim Gok (On the Line) and Kim Sun (Honest Candidate). The K-drama will exclusively premiere on Coupang Play.
Bae Doo Na will portray the role of Han Young Soo. She becomes the mother of the family who hides her special abilities. She is loving to her children.
Ryu Seung Beom will portray the role of the father in the pretend family. He is timid but gives lots of love to his wife Han Young Soo.
Veteran actor Baek Yoon Shik will be the grandfather named Baek Kang Sung. He does not show much affection but he loves and cares for the family.
Lomon and Lee Su Hyun will portray the roles of the 17-year-old siblings Baek Ji Hun and Baek Ji U. Ji Hun has a warm and gentle personality while Ji U is the complete opposite and is picky and sensitive.
