October was a blast for many K-pop girl groups, as various acts have trended for their music releases, activities, social media updates, and many more. To rank their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute released its brand reputation rankings for girl groups.
The organization collected data from September 13 to October 13. The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as the participation of consumers and the artists’ overall engagement with fans.
Here are the 10 K-pop girl groups who trended most in October 2024!
1. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM claimed No. 1 after receiving a brand reputation index of 4,887,479.
2. aespa
In No. 2, aespa secured the place with a brand index of 4,840,235.
The quartet has also gained attention for coming back with “Whiplash.”
3. IVE
IVE placed on No. 3 after seeing a brand reputation index of 4,685,474.
4. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK secured fourth place after gathering an index of 3,894,967.
5. FIFTY FIFTY
FIFTY FIFTY rounded the top five with a brand index of 3,502,869.
6. TWICE
Third-gen powerhouse group TWICE claimed No. 6 with an index of 3,314,216.
October 20th is TWICE’s ninth anniversary, which made headlines in the K-pop community.
7. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE followed with an index of 2,612,584.
8. Red Velvet
Red Velvet made it to No. 8 with an index of 2,563,405.
9. Girls’ Generation
Girls’ Generation took over No. 9 after receiving a brand reputation index of 2,531,105.
10. MAMAMOO
MAMAMOO made it to No. 10 with an index of 2,289,630.
