Through her agency 9ato Entertainment, Han So-hee explained why she had to live as a 1994-born instead of her actual birth year of 1993. This was due to her mother’s fraud allegations. During elementary school, Han So-hee could not attend school normally due to her mother’s fraud allegations, and she resumed her studies a year later.
Han So-hee shared with TenAsia, “When I was about to start fourth grade, I was forced to go to Ulsan because my mother was wanted by the police. Meanwhile, Han So-hee’s mother was arrested on charges of operating an illegal gambling establishment.
