Recently, many K-pop and pop stars have collaborated to release truly legendary songs that have captivated audiences. These collaborative tracks are particularly popular, gaining much attention both domestically and internationally.
First, Rosé released the song APT. on the 18th, a collaboration with Bruno Mars. APT., inspired by the Korean game “Apt Game,” features addictive lyrics and melody. Rosé and Bruno Mars drew attention by sharing moments of them playing the game, and their “special collaboration” and the song’s catchy lyrics resonated with the public.
APT. quickly topped major domestic music charts the day after its release, and it is expected to rank high on the Billboard Hot 100 as well. Before this, Rosé became the first Korean female solo artist to reach No. 1 on both the U.S. Spotify Chart and the Global Spotify Daily Top Song Chart.
The song also claimed the No. 1 spot on Korean music shows, and Bruno Mars posted on his account in Korean, saying, “Thank you so much to Korean fans. I cried all morning after our first music show win. Big thanks to Rosie for helping us achieve this, and thank you all for loving APT.“
APT. will be featured on Rosé’s first full-length solo album Rosie, set for release on December 6, marking her comeback with a high-profile collaboration with Bruno Mars.
