Despite all the so-called “important” news that I need to catch up on, the comeback story for post-World Series bliss will be Yunjin confirming that she explained the “cunty bob” meme to the rest of LE SSERAFIM, in what I can only describe as yet another surreal crossover.

Let’s start from the beginning for those not chronically online like me, where on the pre-show for the 2024 VMAs on September 11th, drag queens Plasma, Amanda Tori Meating, and Dawn reacted to seeing her hairstyle by saying “this cunty bob”. Predictably it went viral (think it was Plasma who said it).

Viral enough to reach the members, as in one of those you-couldn’t-say-it-in-Korean-but-English-is-fine moments, Yunjin slips in the cunty bob meme about Chaewon’s hairstyle days later.

All that is funny enough in itself, but a fan recently confirmed that Yunjin did indeed give the other members the rundown. In my mind, it involves translating Urban Dictionary or something and then having to explain the whole history of the word and reclamation attempt and all that.

Amazing.

Speaking of viral cunty bob stuff, back on October 10, a TikTok user imagined how Chaewon would use a viral sound.
