According to YTN, Go Min-si has confirmed her appearance in the film “Master of the World”. The film tells the story of a day when an unexpected event changes the life of 18-year-old high school student Lee Joo-in. This will be director Yoon Ga-eun’s third feature film.
Director Yoon Ga-eun previously gained attention at renowned film festivals such as the Berlin International Film Festival, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and the Busan International Film Festival with her short films “Guest” (2011) and “Bean Sprout” (2013). Her feature debut “The World of Us” (2016) was officially invited to the Berlin International Film Festival, and she won the Best New Director award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards for it.
After that, director Yoon directed “The House of Us” in 2019, which was well-received internationally, further establishing her as a globally recognized director and one of the most promising talents in Korean cinema.
Go Min-si, known for her diverse roles in projects like Netflix’s “Sweet Home” series, “The Frog”, the drama “Youth of May” and the film “Smugglers”, has continuously transformed into new characters. Her steady acting skills and unique ability to embody different roles have earned her acclaim. Her collaboration with director Yoon Ga-eun, an emerging talent in the independent film world, is generating excitement within the film industry.
