According to her agency ADOR on Nov 7th, Haerin has decided not to sit for the “2025 College Scholastic Ability Test” (CSAT) scheduled for Nov 14th.
Born in 2006, Haerin is of age to qualify for the exam, equivalent to high school graduation in South Korea. However, she has chosen to postpone her college plans to focus on her music career.
NewJeans debuted in the K-pop scene in July 2022 and quickly rose to fame with multiple hit songs, including “Attention”, “Hype Boy”, “Ditto” and “ETA”. The group continued their popularity streak with the double single “How Sweet” in May.
Having officially entered the Japanese market in June, NewJeans will be performing at “COUNTDOWN JAPAN 24/25” held from Dec 28th to 31st at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
They are also set to attend the “9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024)” on Dec 27th at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand.
