Claims that Hwang Ji-min is Oh Hyuk’s fiancée are drawing significant attention. Back in 2020, OSEN had also reported on a dating rumor between the two. At the time, they were spotted on a cozy date at a café in Yeonnam-dong, and one of Oh Hyuk’s close associates was following Hwang Ji-min on social media. However, their agency dismissed the claims, stating they were “just friends.”
Now, with Oh Hyuk skipping over dating confirmations and jumping straight to a marriage announcement, curiosity about his fiancée is intensifying.
In response, Hyukoh’s agency, DooRooDooRoo Artist Company, told OSEN, “We cannot disclose any information regarding Oh Hyuk’s spouse or personal matters,” maintaining a firm “no comment” stance. When pressed further on whether Hwang Ji-min is the bride-to-be, the agency repeatedly declined to answer.
Hwang Ji-min is known for her striking Western features, tall stature, and slender figure, characteristics that highlight her modeling background. While she has appeared in a few music videos, she has little experience in acting or other broadcast activities.
On the same day, Oh Hyuk officially announced his December wedding plans. His agency cautiously stated, “We cannot provide details about the bride-to-be, the location, or the schedule.” The wedding will be a private ceremony, attended only by family and close friends.
Oh Hyuk’s unexpected announcement surprised fans, as he has maintained a low profile regarding his personal life and relationships since debuting. With this marriage, he becomes the third married member of Hyukoh. Guitarist Im Hyun-jae married in May 2020, followed by bassist Im Dong-gun a month later in June.
Hyukoh debuted in 2014 with the EP album 20 and has since released hit songs such as “Wi Ing Wi Ing,” “Comes and Goes,” and “TOMBOY.”
