On December 3, former entertainment journalist-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled “The Truth Behind the Accountant Girlfriend Rumor… Jung Woo-sung’s Sincerity? The Reason Lim Ji-yeon Cheered”.
The video focused on rumors surrounding Jung Woo-sung’s alleged accountant girlfriend, with entertainment reporter Oh Mi-jung joining the discussion.
Oh Mi-jung dismissed the rumors, “It doesn’t seem to be true. If such a story originated from a law office, that would be a significant issue, possibly warranting its closure. It’s hard to find credibility in this.”
She added, “There’s an obsession with keeping secrets.”
Lee Jin-ho emphasized, “The timeline doesn’t match. The rumor started spreading in earnest after news of his illegitimate child was revealed. Even when such rumors circulate, the details are usually vague.”
Lee Jin-ho clarified, “After further investigation, the girlfriend isn’t an accountant. She’s a wealthy individual who has been in a long-term relationship with Jung Woo-sung, even enjoying frequent double dates with Lee Jung-jae and his partner.”
Oh Mi-jung also noted that most in the industry believe the rumor wouldn’t affect casting decisions, as Jung Woo-sung is highly respected in the film world. She explained, “He’s known for his genuine passion for movies. It seems that they see it as a matter of his personal life.”
Lee Jin-ho suggested that actress Lim Ji-yeon’s cheerful reaction was likely a reflection of the supportive atmosphere within the film industry.
Oh Mi-jung concurred, adding, “Jung Woo-sung probably felt less burdened discussing personal matters in the presence of fellow film colleagues.”
