Following the release of BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s first solo album “rosie”, which mostly revolves around the female idol’s past relationship with a “toxic ex”, various speculations about who her ex might be popped up.
In particular, there have been some fans naming Jaden Smith and citing certain “evidence”, such as past updates and works of Jaden as well as his liking for skateboarding – a trait of the ex in Rosé’s “Toxic Till The End” MV.
However, some other fans pointed fingers at another person – who Rosé allegedly followed on her former private Instagram, @vampirehollie, during her “skateboarding phase” back in 2022.
This person is none other than Jason Choi – a skateboard teacher that worked with multiple skate shops. In the past, Choi published a photo of a rose on his Instagram story, leading to further speculations.
As speculations spread, Jason Choi’s SNS started to become filled with toxic comments, with netizens insulting him by saying things like, “Rosé really settled for golum” and “Rosé has some weird taste”.
In the end, Choi had to refute the situation himself, claiming that he is “not BLACKPINK’s Rosé ex”, but rather “a big fan” in a new Instagram story. The teach also expressed his confusion and asked netizens to not be rude, likely addressing the toxic comments.
