In an official response to KG’s lawsuit, JYPE refuted the idol’s abuse claims, and slammed her for damaging the future of the remaining VCHA members.

On December 9, JYP USA released its response to KG’s withdrawal from VCHA as she alleged the label’s abuse and mistreatment. In a document sent by her lawyer, she detailed the physical and mental turmoil from the staff were revealed.

However, the US headquarters of JYP, which manages the girl group and artist, claimed that KG was not telling the truth, adding that her testimonies were exaggerated.

“In May of this year, KG left group residence and initiated discussions through her legal representatives.”

Since then, the label temporarily has halted VCHA’s scheduled activities to discuss the resolution with KG’s side. However, JYP stated that they haven’t heard anything from them since then and are still waiting for their response.

Regardless of lacking communication, JYP denied KG’s claims and expressed regrets that what she did is affecting VCHA greatly. The label wrote:

“We deeply regret KG’s decision to file a lawsuit and make unilateral public statements containing false and exaggerated claims. This action has caused significant harm to the other members of VCHA and JYP USA who have been working diligently on their upcoming album and projects for early 2025.”

Lastly, JYP highlighted that they will fight back against KG to prevent more harm inflicted on both the company and its members.

“JYP USA will take all necessary measures to ensure that neither the other members of VCHA nor JYP USA suffer further harm as a result of this matter. Thank you.”
