Later Geum-hui and Young-bok arrive at the salon, all prepared to storm the police station on Jeong-suk’s behalf, to confront anyone who might stand in her way. Just as they’re about to leave, Jeong-suk arrives with newfound determination. The four women, banded together, apply bold makeup as a symbol of their shared strength and solidarity before heading to the station.

At the station, Ju-ri demands that the officers take their testimonies seriously, dismissing the idea of listening to the local women who had spread gossip. To everyone’s surprise, Da-hyun informs them that the town’s women have actually sided with Jeong-suk, providing supportive testimony. This revelation leaves Jeong-suk stunned but grateful, realizing that the town’s women don’t dislike her—they were merely skeptical of her business at first.

This episode of the series masterfully balances intense emotional depth and moments of empowerment, showcasing Jeong-suk’s resilience and growth as she grapples with trauma and the complexities of public perception. The portrayal of her fear after the assault, coupled with Da-hyun’s unwavering support, brings a poignant depth to their evolving relationship.
