In this apocalyptic narrative, the quiet life of contract worker Kim Dokja is turned upside down when the fictional world of the novel he’s followed for years suddenly materializes. As the only person who knows how the story unfolds, he must navigate deadly challenges and align with the novel’s protagonist, Yoo Joonghyuk (played by Lee Min-ho), to survive.
The newly released images portray Ahn Hyo-seop’s duality as Kim Dokja—from an everyday office worker to a resilient survivor plunged into a world of chaos and war. The contrast in these stills captures the emotional and physical journey of a man forced to adapt, evolve, and rise to the occasion.
