Lee Tae Geun has sadly passed away, causing heartbreak among fans.
On September 6, Korean news outlet SPOTV News reported that the singer passed away earlier on September 4. Lee Tae Geun was 41 years old. Sources stated that Lee Tae Geun fell into a coma after being administered a COVID-19 booster shot in 2022.

The singer’s wife shared that 3 hours after the booster shot was taken, Lee Tae Geun was followed by serious headaches, vomiting, and intense dizziness. A CT was eventually made, and the results showed that Lee Tae Geun was suffering from a brain hemorrhage.
Given the unfortunate news, fans started to extend their condolences on social media. News outlet OSEN also reported that the singer’s last post was made on June 17. The letter read:
“I’m sorry, my beloved. Thank you so much. You’re always there for me, so I love you even more. I can’t do this without you, and a cry from my heart is what I can finally deliver.”
