AKMU‘s Lee Su-hyun is giving fans both laughs and lifestyle inspiration. On May 19, the singer posted a humorous warning on her social media after a minor mishap during her trip to Jeju Island: “Don’t wear a mask while riding a bike in Jeju. I didn’t want to find out why either.”
Accompanying the post was a selfie showing Su-hyun with a dazed expression and uneven tan lines on her face. Her forehead and eye area were visibly tanned, while the part of her face covered by a mask remained pale—an unintentional “mask tan” that sparked amusement among fans. Her deadpan look added the perfect comedic touch.
But while Su-hyun’s Jeju moment showed her lighthearted side, she also recently opened up about her disciplined new lifestyle during an appearance on Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE’s YouTube channel on May 15.
Su-hyun shared that she recently moved back in with her older brother and fellow AKMU member, Lee Chan-hyuk, and described it as a form of personal “rehabilitation.” “I wake up at 8 AM and get sleepy by 11 PM,” she said, laughing.
Jung Yong-hwa noted that Chan-hyuk’s routine mirrors that of a Marine—a nod to his military service in the Marine Corps. Su-hyun added, “My life goal is to live in good health—physically and mentally. That’s why I started living with my brother again.”
She detailed their structured day: “At 11 AM, we read the Bible for 30 minutes, then I work out with a trainer, shower, and finish by 1 PM. We cook and eat a healthy lunch together. By 3 PM, we’re each in our lessons—music, languages, and more. We eat dinner at 7 PM. That’s been our routine for the past month.”
