On the January 17 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show”, Koyote’s Bbaek Ga took on the role of special DJ, while Brian and Baby V.O.X’s Lee Hee-jin appeared as guests in the “Don’t Do It!” corner.

During the show, Lee Hee-jin shared that she was particularly popular among female fans. She recalled, “I had a lot of female fans. The male fans, on the other hand, were quite unusual. Some would show up in taekwondo uniforms or cycle uniforms. I’ve even seen fans bring bicycles, ride them to the event, and then ride back home.

When host Kim Tae-gyun speculated that her boyish charm might have contributed to her popularity among female fans, Lee Hee-jin agreed, saying, “I think it’s because my personality is a bit androgynous. A lot of people seem to like that. I’m easygoing.” She mentioned that Baby V.O.X members Kim E-Z and Kan Mi-youn were more popular with male fans.

Kim Tae-gyun then asked if her large fanbase also meant she had many anti-fans and if there were any memorable incidents involving them.

Lee Hee-jin admitted, “There were a lot of memorable anti-fans. I went through a lot because of someone who was in the same agency as Brian.” Brian immediately realized, saying, “I think I know who they are. A team with many members?

Lee Hee-jin went on to recall, “They threw eggs at me, and one day, I came home to find my front gate had been set on fire.” Reflecting on the past, she expressed relief that such fan culture seems to have faded, saying, “I’m so glad that doesn’t happen anymore.”

Meanwhile, Lee Hee-jin debuted as a member of the girl group Baby V.O.X in 1997. The group faced numerous threats and attacks from anti-fans during their career, particularly in the aftermath of a scandal involving member Kan Mi-youn and H.O.T.’s Moon Hee-joon.
