Best Romance Kdramas 2025!

Love Scout

Let us begin with the couple who flipped the typical gender roles of a romance and brought out a story of their own, which was something that we absolutely loved! Kang Ji-yun’s stunning aura and Yoo Eun-ho’s warm care were something we didn’t know we wanted, and when we got it, it was like love at first sight. These two are definitely one of our favourite couples this year.

The Queen Who Crowns: Before Sunrise

While The Queen Who Crowns won our hearts with the powerful Queen who owns our hearts, seeing the couple in their younger selves before chaos set in was worth it. The story that these two shared was beautiful in its own way and gave us a better look at the couple who once loved each other immensely. You can see the love they once shared, and this was worth the watch.

Melo Movie

Choi Woo-shik and Park Bo-young really surprised us all with this series this year. Not only through their wonderful chemistry, but also with the way they brought the stories of their characters out while working together. This show is so romantic and beautiful that you will find yourself going back for another watch just because of the visuals it delivers.

When Life Gives You Tangerines

There are no words to describe the feelings that this show brings to viewers. While you feel many emotions go through you when watching this show, the one that always remains is love. The love shared between Ae-sun and Gwan-sik is just like the words flowing in a poem, where a constant remains regardless of how the world changes through the words. This is downright the best Romance Kdrama this year.

My Dearest Nemesis

The chaotic duo that knew how to keep viewers entertained- Baek Su-jeong and Ban Ju-yeon were the couple that we couldn’t get over. The environment they create in this show, and how well their chemistry makes the audience forget about the age gap, is something that pulls you into their story. This show was every bit entertaining, and we hope to see more of these two together.

Undercover High School

Seo Kang-joon made the best return to the screen with this show, where he overflows with charisma. But the best came when his love story with Jin Ki-joo’s character began, and we knew that we were just as whipped as Jung Hae-seong. The pseudo teacher-student vibe that they brought on screen was fun, entertaining, and so lovable that they often became the highlight in many episodes.

The Divorce Insurance

This show may be ongoing, but the romance it is delivering is already winning hearts. Lee Dong-wook and Lee Joo-bin are shining as the calm and funny couple, while Lee Kwang-soo and Lee Da-hee are the chaotic couple who know how to make us laugh. Don’t fall for the title because the amount of romance on this show will leave you speechless. Even the guest actors are romancing so hard that they begin wishing to see them as the main couple in another Kdrama.

Way Back Love

Finally, we have the love story that is set to make you cry in every single episode, simply by the emotions that flow in the story. Don’t worry, there are some fun scenes too, but that isn’t enough for the heartbreaking love story that Jung Hui-wan and Kim Ram-woo share. This Kdrama knows how to bring out the feelings within you, so watch it with caution.
