On Oct 18th, the YouTube channel “No Back Tak Jae-hoon” released a video titled “Juice Seyeon, the woman who only crosses pedestrian overpasses due to her crosswalk trauma”.
In the video, Juice Seyeon addressed the incident where she was spotted with Chairman Bang in Beverly Hills, LA. The photos sparked controversy, and she clarified the situation again in this broadcast.
Shin Kyu-jin introduced her by saying, “She was in the U.S. until recently.” Juice Seyeon responded “I just came back from the U.S.“, bringing laughter. Shin Kyu-jin then brought up the controversial photos to continue the conversation.
Juice Seyeon explained, “It was difficult to get a reservation at the restaurant, but Chairman Bang’s presence made it possible. That’s why I accompanied him. However, we didn’t eat together.” She added that it was their first meeting.
She also explained why she closed the comment section after posting a video to clarify the controversy. She said, “I didn’t want to see my regular viewers and new viewers arguing in the comments, so I closed it.“
Juice Seyeon admitted that she felt intimidated after the incident. She joked “There were so many articles about it, and it made me nervous. Next time, I’ll go to the Gwanghwamun crosswalk“, lightening the mood.
The incident with Chairman Bang was indirectly mentioned during a parliamentary audit.
On Oct 15th, during the National Assembly’s Environment and Labor Committee audit, Democratic Party lawmaker Park Hong-bae criticized Bang Si-hyuk’s stay in the U.S., saying, “Instead of fooling around in the U.S., he should recognize the seriousness of the issue.” HYBE had explained that Bang Si-hyuk was unable to attend the audit because he was in the U.S., but Park Hong-bae indirectly referenced the incident, escalating the level of criticism.
On Sep 25th, Juice Seyeon appeared in a preview video for the YouTube channel “Drunk Impersonator”, teasing an episode with comedian Lee Soo-ji.
However, her revealing outfit and “cam girl (female streamer)” activities were criticized by some netizens, who claimed she was “bringing an underground culture into the spotlight“. The video was eventually deleted after the backlash.
Nevertheless, Juice Seyeon appeared on “No Back Tak Jae-hoon”, where a new episode was released.
Throughout the show, Juice Seyeon candidly shared her side of the story and maintained a cheerful atmosphere, even when faced with sharp questions from Tak Jae-hoon.
In particular, she praised comedian Lee Soo-ji’s parody of her “I was impressed when I saw it. It was such an honor“, bringing more laughter.
