Recently, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and global pop star Bruno Mars appeared at the 2024 MAMA Awards and revealed a performance of their viral collab song – “APT.”. This performance quickly went viral and received heaps of praise, but there have also been a fair share of people that accused the duo of lip-syncing.
However, Korean netizens have quickly shut down these lip-sync allegations, as proven via a hot topic on Korean forum “theqoo”.
The topic, which has since drawn almost 30,000 views, was filled with comments defending Rosé and Bruno. Some netizens even mocked the accusers, who tried to “prove” Rosé and Bruno’s “lip-sync” using MR remove videos. It was pointed out that the duo used a live band, and so any “MR remove” attempts are pretty much nonsensical.
