Laws of Love in the Big City achieved the impressive feat of being officially invited to the Special Presentations section of the 49th Toronto International Film Festival. Director Lee Eon-hee, along with lead actors Kim Go-eun and Noh Sang-hyun, recently attended the event in Canada.
On the 13th (local time), the world premiere screening took place, drawing explosive attention from global audiences and the media alike. The Royal Alexandra Theatre, with over 1,100 seats, was fully packed, and the film received a standing ovation following the screening.
Kim Go-eun, in particular, stood out on the red carpet with her bold short haircut, becoming the star of the event. Her flawless beauty effortlessly complemented the hairstyle, drawing admiration from all. Wearing a pristine white dress, she exuded high-class chicness. This transformation is part of her preparation for her next project, the Netflix series The Price of Confession, showcasing her passion for acting and completely stealing the spotlight at the festival.
In another event, Kim Go-eun donned a long wig, displaying her “lovely” charm in a striking contrast, further drawing attention. Seamlessly moving between pure and “girl crush” vibes, she lived up to her reputation as a “master of transformation.”
Laws of Love in the Big City tells the story of Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free-spirited soul who knows no boundaries, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), a person accustomed to distancing himself from the world. The film portrays their unique love story as they live together and will be released on October 1st.
