“Brewing Love” Brandishes Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong Won in Latest Posters

Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong Won are set to captivate audiences with their portrayal of a romantic relationship that intensifies under the influence of alcohol.

The production team of ENA’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama, Brewing Romance (directed by Park Seon-ho and written by Lee Jung-shin), has released two teaser posters and the first teaser video, showcasing the secretive yet exhilarating romance between Chae Yong-ju (played by Kim Se-jeong) and Yoon Min-ju (played by Lee Jong Won).

Brewing Love follows the story of Yong-ju, a high-energy, emotionally reserved sales king for a liquor company, and Min-ju, an overly sensitive brewery CEO who is deeply in tune with her emotions. Though these two characters are polar opposites—much like beer varieties with contrasting flavors—they gradually develop feelings for each other, bringing both excitement and relatability through lighthearted humor.

In the newly released teaser posters and video, viewers get a glimpse of the brewing chemistry between the two leads. One teaser poster shows Yong-ju and Min-ju intimately close, with Yong-ju carrying Min-ju on his back, their faces flushed as they lean affectionately toward one another. Wrapped in bubbles reminiscent of beer, their playful smiles, combined with the tagline “Raising the level of excitement,” reflect the essence of the drama.

The first teaser video contrasts the distinct personalities of the two characters: Yong-ju aggressively pours beer, while Min-ju delicately manages each drop. This juxtaposition teases the dynamic synergy between the two as their playful banter escalates to a heart-pounding moment when their fingertips touch, suggesting romantic tension. As they draw close, as if about to kiss, the excitement builds, leaving viewers eager for more.

Kim Sejeong takes on the role of Chae Yong-ju, a passionate and legendary liquor sales king with a background in the special forces. Described as a “sharp lager,” Yong-ju is physically strong, mentally tough, and always cheerful. His dedication to his job drives him on a mission to protect the sales office he’s been with for six years. However, his well-ordered life is disrupted when someone who understands his heart better than he does enters his world.

Lee Jong Won plays Yoon Min-ju, a brewery owner and brewmaster who has made waves in the liquor industry. Min-ju, depicted as a “delicate ale,” is highly sensitive to the emotions of others but has developed a habit of emotionally shutting herself off to avoid being overwhelmed. Living a peaceful life in a quiet rural village, she becomes increasingly drawn to Yong-ju, who constantly occupies her thoughts despite her attempts to remain detached.

The production team shared that the drama will explore the growing attraction between these two characters, despite their stark differences. They promised a unique romantic comedy filled with charm and humor, thanks to the delightful chemistry between Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong Won. The buzz around the show has already raised high expectations for this refreshing take on a romantic comedy, centered around love, emotions, and, of course, alcohol.

Brewing Love is scheduled to premiere on November 4th at 10 p.m. on ENA and will also be available on Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile.
