In the post, Halsey attached several videos and photos taken during her treatment. She also tagged the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance. Additionally, it is known that Halsey is donating the proceeds from her album sales to the aforementioned organizations.

In the first video, Halsey is seen massaging her aching leg while speaking to someone off-camera, saying, “I feel like an old woman, I told myself I would give myself two years to be sick. When I turn 30, I will be reborn, I won’t be sick, I’ll be incredibly hot and full of energy, and I’ll live my thirties like my twenties”.

Halsey did not specify her illness, but by tagging blood cancer-related organizations and deciding to donate to them, it is speculated that she may be suffering from a similar condition. Previously, Halsey has disclosed that she suffers from endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.

It is known that Halsey previously featured in BTS’s title track “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)” from their album “MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA,” released in April 2019.
