The police authorities have given an update on Suga’s DUI investigation. Following the news, ARMYs shared their thoughts on social media.
On August 26, Korean news outlet TV Chosun reported that Suga’s case had come to a close according to Yongsan Police. The authorities reportedly stated that they were initially planning to send Suga’s case to prosecutors.
However, the police shared that the investigation has now concluded and that there would be “no possibility of further summons” for the idol.
The outlet also shared some insights about Suga’s license plate, confirming that the scooter didn’t need to have a number plate. The matter’s inquiry was consulted with the Ministry of Land.

Suga released a second apology on August 25. The idol’s message was posted on Weverse, where the idol apologized thoroughly to fans about the controversy.
“I have made a big mistake,” Suga said. “I’ve forgotten the responsibility to repay you with actions worthy of the love I’ve received.”
Suga has also expounded on how the issue must have affected BTS as a group.
“I damaged the precious memories I made with the members and fans, while also putting pressure on BTS’s name,” Suga wrote. “I feel so apologetic and regretful that it’s difficult to express since it’s causing damage to the members and the group.“
The rapper ended the note, “I will receive necessary criticism and disciplinary consequences. Once again, I sincerely apologize for causing a stir and disappointing many people.”
