Jin will complete his military service on June 12th. He enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December 2022 and has diligently fulfilled his duties for 18 months.

An official discharge ceremony is not expected. No special events were held to prevent safety accidents when he enlisted, and the same is expected for his discharge.

Initially, the BTS members planned to go to the military unit to welcome him. However, due to concerns about congestion, it is said they will quietly celebrate his discharge at a location in Seoul.

Following his discharge, Jin will resume his individual activities. First, he will attend the “2024 Festa” and hold a hug event with 1,000 ARMYs. He is also planning to release a solo album in the second half of the year.

Next in line for discharge is J-Hope, who will complete his service in October. BTS is expected to reunite as a full group after June next year.
