On April 3, Chungha appeared on the YouTube channel “TT Studio” for a face reading session. Before diving into the reading, she caught up with model Song Hae-na.
Referring to Chungha’s new song “STRESS”, Song Hae-na asked, “Do you have your own way of relieving stress?” Chungha surprised everyone by replying, “I wouldn’t say it relieves my stress, but for the past year, I’ve found myself constantly pulling out my eyelashes and eyebrows.”
Shocked, Song Hae-na exclaimed, “You pull out your eyebrows?” Chungha explained, “I obsessively groom my eyebrows. I’m not sure why I do it. I know it’s a bad habit, so I’ve been trying to stop lately.”
To lighten the mood, Song Hae-na joked, “Isn’t it kind of perverse to relieve stress by feeling pain?” Chungha responded, “I’ve been told I feel less pain than most people.”
Song Hae-na then asked, “Before we start the face reading, is there a facial feature you’re most confident about?” Chungha replied, “The very eyebrows I keep pulling out I’m confident in them.” Song Hae-na agreed, saying, “It must be because they’re thick and full.”
Chungha added, “My friends have always been envious of my brows. They’d say, ‘You’re lucky you don’t even need to draw your eyebrows.’ I like that my brows and lashes are long.”
Meanwhile, Chungha rose to fame after appearing on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 1” in 2016 and being selected as a final member of the project girl group I.O.I. After the group’s disbandment, she continued her career as a successful solo artist under MNH Entertainment, releasing hits like “Roller Coaster” and “Gotta Go“.
In March 2023, Chungha parted ways with MNH Entertainment and later joined Jay Park’s label MORE VISION in October of the same year. In February, she released “STRESS”, further solidifying her place as a leading female diva.
