Cloud Aims At Baek Yerin? “Demanded To Wear Couple Ring After Breakup, Even Verbal Abuse”

On Oct 14th, Cloud shared a long post on his personal account, stating, “This is for my colleagues who believe in me and for my partner, who was harmed despite doing nothing wrong.”

Cloud, who left his former agency PLP in February and withdrew from the band The Volunteers, revealed the challenges he faced.

He mentioned that during his time at PLP, he went beyond his professional duties to support a “PLP artist” to prevent disruptions caused by the artist’s severe emotional fluctuations and impulsive actions.

Many netizens have speculated that the “PLP artist” refers to singer Baek Yerin.

Cloud shared that he dedicated his life to this work, even after entering a relationship. He claimed that he had to maintain constant communication about the “PLP artist”, not only with the artist but also with the staff, even from the moment he woke up until he went to sleep. He also revealed that the artist sent disrespectful messages about his relationship, saying things like, “You’re going to marry me anyway” and “Are you going to keep dating that girl?

Cloud further disclosed that when he did not wear the couple ring they had exchanged while they were dating, it would affect their joint projects. He repeatedly asked the artist to avoid making private remarks toward him on stage, but despite his requests, the artist publicly referred to their past nicknames and private expressions.

He claimed that after facing verbal abuse, he decided to leave the team and agency. Cloud also accused the artist of changing the password to the studio without permission, preventing him from retrieving his personal equipment. He eventually got his equipment back months later through various channels.

Cloud added, “Although I was once in a relationship with the PLP artist, it has been a long time since we returned to a professional relationship. However, even after the breakup, I continued to provide care beyond professional duties to prevent any disruption to the schedule.” He also mentioned that he had to pursue legal action after a previously unreleased song, which he co-wrote, was performed without his approval.

PLP only manages Baek Yerin and The Volunteers, leading many to speculate that the “PLP artist” Cloud referenced is indeed Baek Yerin.
