On November 4th, the channel A aired an episode of “Best Friends Documentary: Table for 4” featuring chef Jung Ji-sun.
The episode began at the Chinese restaurant where customers were flocking to try Jung Ji-sun’s cooking. Commenting on the situation, she said, “After appearing on a cooking competition program, more people have been visiting, and my personal schedule has become quite hectic. So I’d like to introduce the CEO who has become even busier because of me.”
The CEO turned out to be Jung Ji-sun’s husband, Lee Yong-woo. Jung Ji-sun then said, “I’m an employee,” and that she receives a salary. Her husband chimed in, “If she doesn’t work well, I’ll deduct her salary, and if she does well, I’ll pay her more.”
Jung Ji-sun rebutted, “He doesn’t pay me more.” Her husband then said, “I do sometimes, when her contributions are significant.” Hearing this, Jung Ji-sun countered, “Even now, when my contributions are significant, he doesn’t take good care of me.”
Despite the earlier squabble, when Jung Ji-sun later received an invitation to host her closest friends, she asked her husband, “Aren’t you my best friend in life, CEO? Would you like to come?” showing her affection towards her husband.
