Life gets a little stranger in the world of real-life meet-cute gone wrong and that of Kang Seung Won, aka Triple Star from the reality series “Culinary Class Wars,” who is accused by an ex-wife and past lovers, no less, of infidelity, ghosting and even tips on romance violence.
According to a recent report by Dispatch, Kang’s ex-wife (referred to as “A” in the article) opened up about how she had suffered during their short-lived marriage. The two were married for three months before getting divorced from one another in May 2022.
A, who said she was betrayed during their relationship, detailed the emotional process it took on her.
A told Dispatch, “I have been wounded a lot during the dating and marriage process. I thought I made it go away, but you cannot erase a past. It’s giving me a hard time.”
Kang Seung Won did not disclose the specific reasons as to why (the divorce) was filed, but he confirmed that it was A who had started the issues for a divorce.
He partially blamed himself for what happened, saying, “I was just trying to protect the family. To be honest, I do not know what more wrong I did.”
A second woman called “B” accused Kang of ghosting her a few days into seeing each other. She said he ghosted her without any explanation before she discovered he had been dating A at the same period.
B: “I was hurt and felt cheated on. In the absence of success reaching him, I attempted to get a statement.”

To clarify the allegations, Kang confirmed that he had met B but described it as not serious at all, saying they dated for only one to two months.
The news has sent his fans and followers into a tizzy, making Kang, who has seen massive fame through his stint on TV, shocked over the matter. A and B also said they were worried about their privacy and the traumatic effect of being made public figures.
Even more shocking, Dispatch claimed Kang also sent threatening messages to A after she started a new relationship. Pressed by these threats, Kang admitted he was “angry,” but said he could not recall the details of the messages.
“I usually do not act this way; A must have been surprised,” he stated.
The allegations have shaken his image as one of Korea’s best chefs. However his lawyer said those surrounding the messages should be given “greater scrutiny” and claimed A “may not be who she seems.”
As the story continues to develop, fans are left wondering what these turns will mean for Kang Seung Won as a chef and how it might affect his future on screen.
