Disney+’s original series Light Shop has confirmed its release for December 4.
Light Shop is a story that unravels when people with secrets visit a mysterious light shop, the only place that lights up the end of a dark alley. Author Kang Full, the screenwriter of the hit series Moving, penned the script.
The poster shows the lighting store illuminating the end of a dark alley and its owner Jung Won Yeong (Ju Ji Hoon) standing in front of it. The text reads “At the end of a dark alley, unfamiliar guests have arrived.”
Light Shop is based on the webtoon of the same name, which is the fifth installment in Kang Full‘s “flat psychological mystery” series. Additionally, actor Kim Hee Won, who played the role of Choi Il Hwan, a teacher at Jeongwon High School in Moving, took on directing duties. The cast includes Ju Ji Hoon (Kingdom), Park Bo Young (Concrete Utopia, Daily Dose of Sunshine), Bae Sung Woo, Uhm Tae Goo, Kim Seol Hyun, Lee Jung Eun (Juvenile Justice), Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung (Hospital Playlist), Shin Eun Soo (Twinkling Watermelon), Kim Sun Hwa (Big Mouth), and Kim Ki Hae.
Light Shop will air a total of 8 episodes. It will release four episodes on December 4, followed by two episodes each week for the next two weeks.
