The trailer, released in advance of the movie’s March 21 theatrical opening, has received more than 710,000 dislikes in comparison to about 27,000 likes.
Some have criticized the casting of lead actress Rachel Zegler, developing concern over her previous observations on her character and, in specific, the initial plot of the story.

Social media reaction has been mixed at best, with some viewers expressing frustration with the film’s departure from the characters’ well-established storylines.

One commenter said, “Where is Snow White as white as snow?” Meanwhile, others commented on alleged holes in the narrative, stating, “There is no reason to kill snow white whatsoever…? The logic is weak.”
